7th FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT (2007–2013)

The Framework Programmes (FPs) are the main financial tools through which the European Union supports research and development activities covering almost all scientific disciplines.

GOALS:

• Support with carried out in trans-national cooperation in Europe,
• Enhance the dynamism, creativity and excellence of the European research at the frontier of knowledge in all scientific and technological fields,
• Strengthening of human resources in research and technology in Europe among other through support researchers who begin their carrier,
• Intensification of the dialogue between the science and the society to increase social interest in science,
• Support of the results application and dissemination of the knowledge gained during research projects realisation.

FP7 is made up of 4 main blocks of activities
