The objective of the specific programme “People” is to quantitative and qualitative strengthening of human resources in research and technology in Europe by offers individuals the opportunity to follow a career in research. The Programme “People” aim to encouraging European researchers to stay in Europe, and attracting to Europe researchers from the entire world, making Europe more attractive to the best researchers.

The “People” Specific Programme will be implemented through the “Marie Curie Actions” address to the researchers at different stages of their careers:

•   Initial training of researchers to improve mostly young researchers
•   Life-long training and career development
•   Industry-academia pathways and partnerships
•   International dimension
•   Specific actions
